How to Make a Complaint

Homeowners who contact Actingstreet Remodeling should be treated fairly and honestly. If something went wrong, tell us. This page lists the steps for raising a complaint and what follows. It is a general template, not legal advice.

If the Problem Is With a Provider

Providers in our network are independent businesses. Each is responsible for its own quotes, contracts, pricing, work and customer service.

First, raise the issue directly with the provider. Next, keep a written record of what was said and when. Then, if you wish, tell us as well.

We want that feedback. It helps keep our network honest, and providers who repeatedly fall short of our expectations may be removed. Please know that Actingstreet Remodeling cannot settle contract disputes, issue refunds for a provider's work, or act for a provider.

Sending Your Complaint

Email contact@actingstreet.living and include:

1. Your name and the easiest way to reach you 2. The date you contacted us or the provider 3. The phone number you called or the form you used, if you remember 4. The provider's name, if you know it 5. A clear account of what happened and what outcome you want

After You Send It

We confirm receipt by email, usually within a few business days. Then we look into what happened, which may include contacting the provider. Last, we tell you what we found and any steps we are taking.

If You Are Still Unhappy

Reply and ask us to look again. You may also contact your state consumer protection office or attorney general, or your local Better Business Bureau. For a problem with a contractor, a state or local contractor licensing board may also be able to help.
